Well, thankfully I have the en-gb English International version, so I don't have an N version to confirm what does (and doesn't) work. With the Media Pack installed your N version should be identical to the full versions.

I just did a clean install of Windows N about a month ago (ran into the same html problem) and I downloaded the "Media Feature Pack" from Microsoft's website. And after the April update I installed a new verison of "Media Feature Pack" again but it didn't work for me. Just to let everybody know.

How are the millions of Edge users around the world supposed to know that this exists, and whether they need it or not? Win10 should have little pop-ups with important tweaks that are available, instead of continually asking "How do you rate Edge?".

It's a regional thing. The millions of Edge users around the world for the most part aren't using the N version. Those users in the EU that have the N version should already know they are missing the media features, such as the Media Player.
