Adding social networks to Edge share feature

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and started using Edge. When I had 8 and 8.1, I usually used Chrome as my browser and often used the "Pin It" button which I downloaded to my browser so I could pin an image directly from a webpage I was viewing to my Pinterest boards. In Edge, I see that there is a share button that recognizes my email and Twitter accounts along with other news-sharing apps I use, but it does not list my Pinterest or Facebook accounts.

After reading other forums, I tried installing the Pinterest Explorer app thinking that it would recognize my account and add it to the options in the share function, but it still does not show up. I haven't yet tried to get my Facebook to show up in Share, but I will soon.

Is there some way I can add social networks to the Share option in Edge?

    Hi there,

I had the same question. I found the solution by reading your post (when you mentioned news sharing app). For you to have other share accounts, you should buy apps from the Microsoft store. For e.g. download a Facebook app and install it. You should now find it in share window of MS Edge. Hope it helps, msg me if you are successful with the share functionality. Win 10 is great!
