I have set Google as my homepage, when I open a new tab, this opens with MSN, is there a way I can set tabs to open as my homepage?

I think it's Microsoft Edge
It might improve given time, it's slow and frustrating, patience is my teaser
Edge doesn't allow you to specify opening tabs in homepage.
Click the three dots then Settings. Scroll down to Open Tabs With.
Those are your options. You might want to use Blank Page and add your home page to favorites or favorites bar.
Also you don't have to use Edge. If you choose to install other browsers you can usually set tabs t open in specific sites.
There is a tutorial on that here:
Open Internet Explorer in Windows 10 Windows 10 Tutorials
Internet Explorer - you should have it already.
Thanks, almost sorted, the only other issue I have, when I'm on a webpage and open a favorites page, the favorites page overtakes the webpage I was on, to stop this, is there a way when I open webpages, they open in a new tab?
Open Control Panel:
Open Control Panel in Windows 10 Windows 10 Tutorials
Switch Control Panel view to "small icons" the click "internet options"
"Change how webpages are displayed in tabs" lets you configure options to your liking.
I've gone through the instructions above, ticked what I though would be the right box tabs still overriding webpages
