The problem I have with Chrome is that it leaves processes on your PC long after it is closed. Firefox uses multi processes as well but when you close Firefox the processes close with it.

Did you disable background processes in advanced settings?

No, I installed Chrome the same way I installed Firefox. I removed Chrome after about 20 minutes using REVO. I sometimes use Slimjet which is Chromium Based and it does not leave anything behind and is quite stable.

    To each his own,
the only thing I find disappointing in Chrome is that the fonts are terrible.

If you disable background process option, it'l close all Chrome processes from running.

That would sort of defeat their purpose, does not matter to me as I will never use Chrome anyway.

    What purpose?

The option is there to prevent your issue with Chrome

ie, background tasks no longer run when you close Chrome

The purpose is that Chrome will not have to reload those processes. When one installs Firefox the default is ZERO processes and The User has to pick what they want from 0-7 and they all close.
