Lost my Microsoft Edge Favorites although spartan.edb is 8mb

I have no idea when they were lost. I started Edge today to go to a specific site I have bookmarked and all I have is Favorites with no other bookmarks.

    However, when I go to

    Directory of C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Defau lt\DataStore\Data\nouser1\120712-0049\DBStore

    11/17/2017 09:33 PM <DIR> .
    11/17/2017 09:33 PM <DIR> ..
    01/17/2018 06:51 PM 8,192 edb.chk
    01/17/2018 11:15 AM <DIR> LogFiles
    01/17/2018 06:49 PM 8,388,608 spartan.edb
    01/17/2018 06:49 PM 16,384 spartan.jfm
    3 File(s) 8,413,184 bytes
    3 Dir(s) 300,901,769,216 bytes free

I see Spartan is there. Anyway I can recover my bookmarks?

Is there a Spartan tool that will extract the URLs for me?

    Thanks

    Hi TurboCooler

While I don't know of a Spartan tool have you tried another browser?

Here are the instruction on how to import them to Firefox. From there you can then determine next step. Maybe even try Importing them back into Edge.

Why, yes... as a mater of fact, there is! There is a free 3rd-party application called EdgeManage that is specifically designed to deal with the spartan database.

Take a look at this article to see if this is something that you'd be interested in: http://www.edgemanage.emmet-gray.com/index.html
