Having problems with IE 11 in Windows 10

Hi, I started having issues with IE 11 in one of my forums that I have been a member of for 10 years. When I click on a thread to reply or even to start a thread I get this message
Having problems with IE 11 in Windows 10-web-page.png
It says it is a bad address. However, when I go to my forum with Edge, or Google I don't have this issue and when I checked the URL in IE it is the same URL that comes up in Edge. Since IE11 is my favorite browser and has only just started giving me this problem I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions. I am a Senior but have been on computer for over 20 years.
I can get around pretty good on the internet and have always fixed things myself. However, after cleaning up and deleting all my cookies, temporary files and such it still won't let me post with IE11. I even reset IE11 to the default settings and switched the compatibly view option back and forth to see it this would work. Microsoft customer service just downloaded a new Windows 10 for me because after the last upgrade my computer had way to many problems. However, IE11 was working fine till about 5 days ago. I really would like my IE11 back up and running again as I do not like the Edge browser that I have to use for the time being. Does anyone have any suggestions and please know that if you answer in geek speak (no offense) I can't follow that. Thank you in advance.

    When was that ?
You said "downloaded a new Windows 10", was that installed or you are still running the last upgrade ?

Hi, I'm sorry I don't know what a proxy is or where to find it. Also, I have Norton's Security but have tried to post in my forum while I turned it off for 15 minutes and still no luck. How do you know if a site is using Java Script? The frustrating thing is that I can read all the posts in my forum but when I try to post it gives me the Web Page cannot be found message. I do no have this issue on any other sites that I have noticed.

I'm sorry I should have said that Microsoft installed Windows 10 for me after their lastest upgrade. That was just after the New Year about 2 weeks ago.

I am using IE11 in here without any problems. I love IE11 and don't want to change it. I am just frustrated the URL's to pages in my group are the same in both IE11, Edge and even Chrome and yet only IE is giving me the Web Page issue.

I will go and check where to find the proxy settings. Thank you for replying to my post.

"my forum" meaning this forum or another site/forum ?

Add the site to the compatibility view list as described in the link above.

I rarely use IE11 but have also encountered display issues. Though it is still being supported, many feel it will eventually be discontinued. I would recommend adapting to another browser

I am not having an issue in this forum and I have already done the compatibility thing, still doesn't work. I have a feeling there is no solution. I just feel bad that this has only been going on over the last week or so and that I am being forced to use a browser I really don't like. In all the years I have been on the internet, IE has never given me any issues. Oh well.

Have you reported the issue to that forums Moderators and or Administrators.

Could be they've upgraded their site. If it works with modern browsers this could be what you are looking at. Some of the Asus.com site won't accept IE11.

I hear you on changing but the fact is IE11 will continue to play less of role in the overall Internet experience.

    See what the site says.

Can you post in your forum with the other browsers? If so, I agree with Ken in that the forum software probably needs to be tweaked for IE.

Some may disagree on this, Edge is actually IE11.. Those accumulated updates, click the link on one, it takes you to Microsoft Support,, it list what they fix and anything on browser pertain to IE11 and not Edge. I have Edge set to have MSN my home page which looks like I have IE11 open.
