This depends on how you configure Thunderbird. I have multiple accounts, 1 inbox. It is one I recall struggling with for a time last time I added an account.the Thunderbird email client, but while it handles all 4 of their email accounts, it shows them as 4 separate inboxes in the Thunderbird app.

Unfortunately they don't have MS Office, so don't have Outlook. But the "linked inbox" option in the Windows 10 Mail app looks promising. I will have to look into that. Now I just have to get them off of their old Windows 7 PC and onto a new PC running Windows 10. They have been borderline on pulling the trigger but if I can meet their email desires with Windows 10, I think it will seal the deal.
I think it's there.. on a per account basis.

- just thinking of the search terms is the trick.. let Google or similar do the rest. I'd not come across unified folders before so I've learnt sthg... and used Tbird for 3-4 years.
