Your temps are good. So are you saying your CPU runs constantly at 5.3 and 1.2V? Don't you want to save some power? Let the CPU down clock at idle? Constant full speed will really wear the chip too... This screen shot shows what my CPU does in Adaptive mode. The core clock, multiplier and voltage all down clock and up clock according to CPU load. If you want the CPU in performance mode just set the Windows power plan to performance mode!! At least try it Mike.

I do NOT want my CPU going up and down constantly .....no thanks, I'll pass. I've been doing it my way for a very long time now. When I want to give the cpu a rest, I'll go down to 5.1 and my temps will drop a lot lower.

    Memory is overclocked also....

With the power plan on performance I can keep the CPU in full power mode, just the same as manual/Offset mode essentially... I will try Offset mode to see how it works but I like to use the CPU's power saving features when I can. I find running the CPU in full power mode when idling definitely warms the VRM and case internals up more. The extra energy consumption is not actually that much but there is increased heat. As long as your happy Mike.

Yes of course we know....LoL Mine is Always ON Performance Mode.....never change it.
I took a pic of my temps at idle ....and remember I'm at 5.3 <---- !!! I think my temps are Very Good.

    Hi,
    Nice
Not sure if you ran R.20... before taking that screen shot if not might explain the large spread between core max temps.
Between highest and lowest max core temps is a 27c difference that's a lot if that is after running this benchmark.

Just so you know, the VRM's on the Apex X and the Apex XI are MUCH Better than your board....

If you got the time, and really want to see the spec's on the Apex XI board. There are 2 great reviews on this board. Which also talks about the VRM's on this board. The bottom review is quite Technical.
