Sounds good ouch $700 MB ,I considered a 4090 in the start but realized it's not worth my use case right now plus it was ridiculously priced at the time i bought this one.
Either way ,I don't feel bad about my purchase. what ,I do notice is people who have a 13900k +4090 are not getting the most out of it and neither are people with lower model cpu's unless heavily oc'ed.
People and content creators with the 4080 not worth it bs well i am serving up 4080 pie to a lot of people who have the best of the best because they didn't tune anything and slapped it together and ran with it

True that and ,I haven't even oc'ed this chip i just did some memory adjustments and used XMPII with Typical case scenario

I wouldn't worry too much about the backorder rumors are 14th gen will be pushed back and some other new cpu's due to current economics ,Thought 14th gen was going to be released in Q2 but guess not if this is so were safe for another year and half before Intel brings out Meteor-Lake ?
