My 1999 Buick Riviera cost 200 less also ....just bought it in Jan of this year. Rebuilding it ...got a 97 Riv too.
That's the spirit, I'm still kicking myself for not bringing my 1966 Mercury pickup with me.

I'm impressed with yours actually. What GPU you have in there, FTW3?

Yeah, it's not a big "upgrade" to the 9900k but damn is this thing easy to overclock Both CPU and Ram. And it's one more toy to play with during quarantine.

I haven't played much with it. As soon as I had my basic cables plugged in I fired it played around with OC settings after checking some base scores and went to sleep, leaving a mess of an spaghetti monster on table, you know the kind of mess your wife is delighted to wake up to.. not.

Will move it to my office today and see what she got. Right off the bat I dialed the ram to 4266 with very loose timings and 43 with stock everything else and she ran benchmarks. So, happy with that. I wish I had a higher tier 2080 Ti but we will call this First World Problems. When the 3080Ti comes out will be interesting to watch benchmarks between AMD XT and this chip for games.

It booted just fine @ 54 but it seemed to hit a thermal bottle neck, with results that are just marginally higher. Will have to play with that later today.
    Hi,
Yeah you were at 4233 memory there and exact same 53.3 clock as I was but I was at 3600 on memory
You gpu of course was a slaughter house lol

My cpu scores were a little higher than yours you might need to tune your memory a little bit sometimes high memory gives lower results

Thanks, yeah I had very bad timings. I only made one try with a preset from the bios.

I ditched the Corsair case today it was driving me absolutly insane. There's no space at all in there even though it's enormous.

Anyway, about to run some benchmarks to test this memory setup (14-14-14-34 @ 3800 1.40v)

    Thanks for the suggestion!

    Hi,
tRFC DRAM REF Cycle Time can be a ton lower try 320
tREFI DRAM Refresh Interval can be 40000 some max it out at 65535

Also install this 4.0.3 asrock memory config app and post what it shows it works on z490
Don't use it to change settings only to post what timings are being used in the os easily

Can't post it here it's too large of a download but I have it on oc.net

    Hi,
Apex is fine these chips max out is all
Memory I haven't gone into too much beyond 4k mhz the gains were minuscule so wasn't worth reposting for 20-30 points

Read though my maxing out could be psu related 1000p2 might not be able to handle anymore someone said that about 1000 G+ psu swapped for a antec 1300w and all was good :/

Hard to believe but once I get my open bench here in a couple weeks I'll be able to swap to a 1200p2 a little easier.

Apex has a better m.2 layout dimm_2 card is all pch not cpu or gpu lanes.
Memory oc'ing this again I haven't dug into yet 3600c16 2x8gb is all I got probably only good for 4200 anyway.

    Dual bios best feature
