    @polo Is it LLC that is boosting the voltage so much? Have you tried to get 5Ghz stable at a lower voltage?

    According to this some people are running 5Ghz with voltage as low as 1.136-1.200v or am I reading that wrong? [Sammelthread] Intel Coffee Lake-S (Sockel 1151) OC-Ergebnis-Thread! KEIN Quatschthread!

    Yes I have tried.

    Temperature also plays a big part if an OC is stable or not. My CPU can boot @5.3GHz and will immediately crash when I try to run Cinenebench no matter what the Vcore setting is, but when I submerge the radiator in water and cover it with ice I can complete a Cinebench run @5.4GHz.

    Each CPU and motherboard combination will behave differently, you just need to determine what settings are stable for your setup.

    @polo What does a negative offset achieve for you? I use Adaptive + negative offset but with the - offset on Auto. I'm not even sure what a negative offset on Auto does...

    With my particular settings the 0.005V(0.008V actual) negative offset helps to reduce Overshoot without causing any Vdroop. I tried different Voltage settings and took notes of it till I achieved the sweet spot. The LLC level also plays a big part, I prefer to use LLC 4 for both my daily OC and for benchmark runs at 5.2GHz.

    Use Cinebench to check Vdroop and Prime95 1344 FFT in-place or Realbench to check Overshoot.

    @polo Am I reading this wrong? 5.2Ghz under 1.280v? What is the 4800Mhz, 4500Mhz next to it?
