What makes KS faster than K ?
For starters, while the original Core i9-9900K topped out at a maximum boost clock of 4.6GHz on all cores, the Core i9-9900KS bumps things up to a solid 5GHz, from a base clock of 4GHz. (The base clock is rated at just 3.6GHz in the straight Core i9-9900K.)

I was just wondering what happened to it ?
AMD is doing similar thing, last batches of Ryzen have over 100MHz better than first batch (like mine) and some will get XT version with 200 -300MHz higher boost frequency for same price.
