I ran the benchmark with stock GPU settings and extreme pre-set. kind of disappointed with the results, thought an RTX2060 would at least match a GTX1080TI but apparently not. Could it be the CPU and 2133 RAM (MB doesn't support XMP, RAM should be 2666) holding it back?

I was under the impression the 2080 was the equivalent of a 1080ti. I owned a 2080 for a little while after selling my 1080ti and the 2080 only beat the 1080ti in a couple of benchmarks.
The 2060 is nowhere near the performance of a 1080ti.

    Hi,
Might at a rtx benchmark but this is an old one that doesn't know what rtx is

You'd have to use race to the bottom benchmark but it will cost you a few bucks to see

The reason his 2060 can't beat a 1080ti in this benchmark Thrash is because the 2080 is the equivilent. He would need a 2080 to even draw level with a 1080ti.

I agree it would most likely beat it in an RTX based benchmark as RTX is native to the card but in all other benchmarks the 2060 will not come close to a 1080ti.

I'm not quite sure where he got the idea that the 2060 is a better card than a 1080ti. It's newer yes but much cheaper and nowhere near the GPU power.

Mine without vf curve tuner fiddling
    +170 Core / +1550 Memory (Can go higher/ Stable still at +- +1650)
If i wanted i would tune it to make GPU voltage stable at 1.091V now it's sitting at 1.081V...
But still it's just rough overclock no tweaks so bad score
