Hi,
Not sure how you can boot to a gpu
Either way the nvflash is in a zip folder on the 1080ti flash thread those instructions have a lot of unnecessary instruction
The first link was clear as day except for the missing nvflash64 detail needs an update.
Paul I looked and Heaven doesn't pull 370W. I pull between 300-330W on all my Heaven runs so your 310W may be normal. Curious though, did you say the ROG Strix pulled 370W in Heaven? Try running Firestrike and I'm sure you will pull 370-380W with that one.
Thanks for looking Kol. I have just finished a lot of testing and it turns out for me the issue lies with Precision X1 software. If I run any bench at any overclock using that it will max out at 310w. If I use different overclocking software it works as expected! I expected heaven to be around 350w and using other software it hit 353w so i wasn't far out. Now I need to figure out why Precision X1 is limiting it! A job for another day lol. I improved my score a little anyway.
Edit: I should add, it hits a good 375w in other benches such as Superposition or Firestrike using different software and as I said before it will be maxed out at 310w using Precision X1. Weird but I will figure it out.
Do you have HWiNFO Paul? It is pretty accurate. Reset the counter in HWiNFO before your Heaven run and see what power readings it gives. PX1 may be glitching, sometimes it shows I'm using 810W!! I need to mention this is the forum. You could try an older version of PX1. I've seen my card peak at 400W in some spots in Heaven but then on another run it won't go anywhere near it.
