Yeah but remember Overclocking is not done by everyone and most of the one's who don't probably don't care they can gain more from upping the clocks but by design it should give around the same performance Boosting on it's own the limiting factor there is the CPU is not cranked to it's max potential

I try to remember some members here are not like us willing to break stuff for the sake of how far can we go lol
I'm sure they look at us like we are nuts too

Man i can't even come up with a comeback that was pretty good .

Had me thinking all kinds of comparisons lol ,Imagine building a Rig with a P4 3.4Ghz 2 cores DDR 2GB running a RTX3080 man that's a massive bottleneck that's the way your Analogy sounded like
