Nice score Brawndo! 5.2 on your 9900K too, well done. I see Power Voltage in the Lim OSD, does that means it's your increased power limit range? I still don't fully understand the voltage limit thing with MSI Afterburner...

    Very nice bump Steve
Thanks, basically I used my second NVMe drive for a fresh install and just installed the basic stuff, bumped down my A/C to 16 Celsius and it helped a lot for heaven. I've no idea why I can't still beat my previous Time Spy score though! Will have to try it again this weekend. Have a good weekend guys.

As far as I know, it's the BIOS imposing limits as to not screw the card. Something like that. I'm really not an expert. But basically, power limited with the settings I've configured.

Power throttling will always be a problem

Buildzoid has even said the power limits on the RTX cards are very hard to override even with hardware mods on the PCB.
Nvidia as added many more monitoring circuits to RTX series that it'll be next to impossible to modify the cards to really override.

Brawndo I think this means you are hitting the power and voltage limit for the card, I'm just having a look into it.

Correct, I found out that pushing all the slider to max is not the proper way to go. Some benchmarks prefer memory over gpu and vice-versa, and I've found that I get diminishing returns @ 53 MHZ or using too much voltage/power. Depends on the benchmark they all have their own quirks. One thing though, a clean OS and cold room does the job. My GPU is on air. Also seems like I'm playing bingo oftentimes I can't even beat my previous scores with higher settings. Learning process for me, but I enjoy it.

That sounds a bit like my experience with Heaven this weekend. I got one or two worse scores with the voltage slider maxed out. I forgot what the rest of the settings were though. On my next runs I'm going to pay closer attention. I usually record each runs settings but if you forget to record one you can get muddled pretty quick. I should try one or two of the other benches at some stage too.

Yeah I need to take notes for both my Mobo BIOS and Card best scores or screenshots at least.

    A run @53, for science Apparently I'm stable with a few benchmarks @ 53.

Bump to 6437. I've the TGA (F12 in-benchmark screenshot) saved near the rocks if necessary.
