Windows 10 WADK for version 1703 download

    Hello,

Is there a different way or alternate offline download link to the Windows 10 WADK for version 1703? I ask because I cannot download it at home due to my ISP restrictions on download sizes (shit internet). I cannot use the .exe that is to be run inorder to get the WADK download in an internet shop as they will not allow any .exe to run. This is a deskop thus I can't bring it to the internet shop as well.

I need it to make the WinPE of Macrium Refect ver7 in Win 10.

    Anyone?

Hi there. See if this works. It's a direct link with Bing search.

    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=526740

Or search for > Windows 10 WADK > on Bing.

You do not need WADK to make Macrium PE. You can create the rescue media (WinPE with Macrium Reflect preinstalled) directly from Macrium UI:

This will download about 850 MB (WADK WinPE for x64 WinPE) and create bootable media.

Thanks for the correction, Kari. As you know MR is all new to me and you'd think I'd remember this after making one a few weeks ago. LOL. Might as well include a link to your tutorial for the OP.

I did not mean to correct you, nothing wrong in your post. I just told about another option. A Macrium rescue media is full WinPE with Macrium reflect included. Excluding Macrium components it's as any WinPE created with Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (WADK).

Ok. Perhaps I worded it wrong. I didn't mean it in that sense. I meant that it was indeed a much better option for the OP. Repetition is my best teacher. LOL. I'm at the age of having CRS. I get up from my chair to do something, get distracted with doing something else, and then forget what I got up for in the first place.

    Hello Sirs,

    Thanks all for the reply.

850 MB (WADK WinPE for x64 WinPE)

I may have confused you as to why I need the WADK download. As of the moment due to my econimic situation I cannot download the 850mb WADK PE needed to create the WinPE of Macrium as my ISP does not permit >450mb of download per session. It s a shit ISP but one that I can afford due to my situation. Thus I need an alternate download as what I did when i was with Win 7. I had the ADK downloaded from an offline link and ran it independently. When I made the WinPe for Win 7 I did not download anymore the WinPE needed as Macrium identified it that it is in my system already.

Now the link above I also tried previously and there was this adksetup.exe. I will need to run this to get the appropriate files that I need so I can get WADK for Win10. problem is "no internet cafe" (well at least here in my area) will allow you to run an ".exe" in their premises. The Macrium installer has the same sort of thing, you need to run an .exe file and from there download the full installer. Macrium support helped me with a special link so I can get the offline installer from their servers and install it offline but with the WinPe they declined says it's MS.

Thus my dilemma here...I cannot create the WinPE of Macrium because I can't download it directly from MS because I cant bring this desktop to the internet cafe and the internet cafe will not let me run the adksetup.exe so I can download the WADK files I need...

Hmm. What a predicament. Never heard of such asinine rules on both parties. I can understand ISP monthly data limits, but download limit?! And when it comes to cafes, what business is it of theirs? Where do you live? In hell? Talk about control! Wow!

Two things I can think of if possible. Use a cell phone as a hotspot. It may be slow, but possible. Or start the download on your PC just before midnight, pause it, then finish it after midnight.

Hi guys, sorry again for the late reply and update. Well I still have not been able to download the PE10 WADK as I have no means to download it in an internet shop using the the download agent and the MS link. The owners of the shop will not allow it. My shit ISP still restricts my download thus the dilemma...

Hi there. Have you tried a different shop? A McDonalds or some other chain?
