Macrium Free is only system image. I'll use that and stick with Windows backup for the files. Thanks all.

My tech supported recommended turning of native win backup if using Macrium. I am using the free edition for system image. Any problems just using native win 7 scheduled file backup?

Hi. Sorry to pick this up again. I've read this thread, but I'm not sure what it all means.

I've just tried to 'Create a system image' in 'Back up and Restore (Windows 7)'. I have made three back ups in the past, which 'wbadmin get versions -backuptarget:d:' seems to find. However, when I try to create the image this time, no drive is found. The C: drive has 76GB of 117GB used. The D: drive has 1126GB free.

Any ideas. As I say, I don't fully understand what the rest of this thread suggests, so I am a little confused.

    Matt
