Macrium Ask for User Name and Password

For whatever reason, Macrium free was corrupted and I had to totally uninstall and reinstall. I did a new backup and did a scheduled future backups. However it won't allow scheduled task unless I put in a user name and password. Never had this request before. Not sure what user name and password it is requesting. The backup freezes during the process which was the issue that caused me to reinstall. I even restored a past disk image with a Macrium boot disk. Is there another way to get Macrium to work in safe mode or something. Some other software or program must be causing this as never had an issue before.

I assume it's asking for an administrator account and password so it can run the task under that account it's normal to ask for this

Really? I have had Macrium since it came out and has never ask me for that info. prior to doing a scheduled backup. Macrium hasn't worked since yesterday. Scheduled backups are every Monday. Noticed it didn't backup yesterday and hasn't worked since. Freezes during the backup process. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but still freezes.

Was anything changed within your computer's security and/or monitoring programs? I wish I could see the popup asking for a username and password.

Not that I know of. Was working normally until yesterday when it froze doing the scheduled backup. Hasn't worked since. I not only uninstalled and reinstalled Macrium but it corrupted my windows so I did a image restore back to the previous week. Still Macrium doesn't work correctly. Not sure what to try next.

I just restored an image from two backups ago (two weeks) and reinstalled Macrium. Started to run the back up and froze like before. Wonder why all of a sudden I can't even use Macrium on this computer as of yesterday. I have restored two different windows backups yet Macrium will no longer run. Shame I will have to go to another backup system.

I just cloned my C drive to another SSD and it worked perfectly. Wonder why I can clone but as of yesterday can't make image backups?

Back to the orginal question it is so it can run the backup if you havent entered that it could be why it fails Which user name and password is used when scheduling a backup - KnowledgeBase - Macrium Reflect Knowledgebase

No thats not the issue now. I did enter the user name and password, I was asking why it all of a sudden is asking for the info when it never did before. Again the user name and password has been entered and still will not image, but will clone.
