I have just installed Macrium Reflect Free 6.3 and cannot seem to find a way to create only Full backups. I did this on both Acronis and Paragon.
How can I set up Reflect to do this?

Later on, if you desire to do differential and/or incremental backups, I heard scuttlebutt indicating pay-for version 7 is much faster than previous version for differential and/or incremental backups. It is not known when the free version 7 will be available.
Thank you. I, too, heard or read that somewhere. I've had no interest in incremental backups since my first venture into backups with Acronis years ago. I probably with buy the 'real' version 7 soon after getting used to Reflect. So far, it impresses me very much. Having to learn a new way to do things is daunting after going through it with the change from W7 to W10.
Hi JJG10. I sympathize with you as I moved from Acronis to Macrium just a few months ago. You'll get up to speed quickly. I never could figure out how to run differential and incremental backups with Acronis. The interface became more and more difficult o use as they "improved" it.
I run full backups about ever two weeks and then differentials at the end of every work day. That way I'm protected especially from MS wonky updates.
Here's how to start a differential backup - I find this rather obscure compared to Aomei Backupper, where it's a dropdown on the initial GUI for the particular backup.
The actual creation of backups is slightly faster. What is mega faster is the Rapid Delta Restore.
This is how it works:-
Suppose yesterday you had Files A B C D on PC, and you did a full image backup (Full contains A+B+C+D)
Then today you added file E, and did a differential backup (Diff contains E only)
Then somehow you corrupted or deleted file C.
On version 6, you would restore full+diff, and it would write A+B+C+D+E to PC (i.e all of them)
On version 7, you would restore full+diff, and it would check files on pc with files in Full+Diff backups, and see only file C has changed, and ONLY write file C! I tried this, and it is AWESOME see:

You can expect free version around May (usually apprx 3 months behind paid versions). Website says coming soon.
