I want to be able to assign "Control Shift C" as the shortcut key like you see in that attached photo. It will let me assign other combinations, but not Control Shift C. It was working before I did a system restore. I'm thinking it won't work now because the old shortcut from before I restored it is confusing it somehow. Any ideas? thanks.

Hi, you might try this to scan your system for assigned shortcuts: it found this one on mine. It might give you a clue.

I assume you have tried deleting the shortcut you created.
Note: the actual shortcut key definitions do not seem to be held in the registry- I was trying to think how system restore may have affected this.

That thought reminded me that Winaero made a comment about updating the old calculator download so it was independent of sfc scannow etc - that's probably not relevant to your shortcut issue though.

Hi Group, I am trying to decide if it is worth upgrading from 8.1. I have had trouble with the system restore function in 8.1. It does not make as many restore points as in XP, is harder to access, and crashes. Has it been improved in 10? Thanks!...
