    cloning win 10 os disk

    Evening folks.

I have a win 7 pc which I clone with Norton Ghost 15 on boot cd which gets me out of trouble regularly
especially when trying new software out.

I also have a win 10 laptop which does not work with NGhost, presumably because of the UEFI file system or whatever.
(I don't pretend to know the reason) :)

What are people using successfully to clone a win 10 OS preferably from a boot disk?
    Advice appreciated,
    Mike

Anything but Norton. Ghost was no longer supported after 2013, so it is no wonder why you are having issues. Macirum is the one that a lot use. If you just want to do a full disk clone, you can use Clonezilla. Just be aware that you have to run it in Legacy mode on the bios and it may not allow you to restore Windows 10 as UEFI.

Yes, and it will give you the option of making it's own boot disk as well.
