Backup fails
My win 7 backup on a win 10 machine fails. There is an inadequate message. There is 375 GB free space.
It stops after creating three folders.

What kind of backup is it? There are various ways to mount most backup files, so you can selectively grab files from the backup to restore. But to provide instructions on how to do this, we must know what we've got to work with. So please: tell us a little more, specifically:
1. name of program used to create backup
2. names of backup files you wish to use (if available)
With that information in hand, we may very well help you sort things out!
