That's a good point...I had forgotten about that. You'd have to remember whatever you worked on after taking a snapshot & before you restored (Of course, you'd have to do that anyhow or you wouldn't know what data files to restore). It would be just as easy to first copy them to an external drive, restore, & then copy them back. I suppose a sync program could do that automatically.
I did find a manual for their pro version (they don't have it for the free version) at https://www.horizondatasys.com/downl...User_Guide.pdf, which says on p.14 "* Rollback system to a snapshot will reset everything on the hard drive to the time of the snapshot. To keep the latest user data created after the snapshot, you can select files or folders to transfer to the restoring snapshot, so your data will remain unchanged even after rolling back to another snapshot. To exclude files from being changed by a roll-back, click on the Exclusion button."
I don't know if those features are available in the free version.
