Is it possible to backup Restore points?

    Hi.

Is it possible to backup Restore points?

as i have a program that deletes them, so i would like to backup them before installation, and restore them afterwards.

Restore Points are stored in a hidden system folder "System Volume Information". Deletion is automatically done by the system on a FIFO basis & on how much space has been allocated for Restore Points.

Which program do you use to delete RPs? Is it a drive cleaning utility? Manually restoring or writing to a system folder can have unintended results and is not recommended.

Use a disk imaging program to image your hard disk. You can also use the Create System Image utility in Control Panel.
