It still take about 2 minutes to boot. How can I put it on a Flash Drive. Do I have to format it?
Just point Macrium to the flash drive and it will take care of the rest.

Just create a new one. Open up Macrium reflect and there's an option to ceate recovery media and pop in a USB.

Flash drive is a lot faster too, but I still have to make one on a CD cause I have never figured out how to make my older HP to boot from any USB drive, it only sees the DVD drive. Would love to have it see the USB drive, but I've given up trying.

After this version(version 6) settels down with the constant updates, where we have to keep updating the WinPE environment, I'll make a DVD too. A USB can go bad, faster than a DVD.

Yup, I understand what your saying Cliff, my newer HP works fine either from my flash drive or cd, but my 2nd HP works only from a bootable CD/DVD so I always have to make both.

I am switching around SSDs between PCs and it took only a little over than 4 minutes to do a complete clone with Macrium.

And here's my other way of cloning or migrating OS without using a PC.
    Startech standalone duplicator.
