A Repair Install usually creates a Recovery Partition. I would do that if the Windows RE mode is significantly better than Windows PE for MR, but is it? I've had no problems using PE, although it is a bit slow loading.
Unless you need to use wifi and PE is working for you I wouldn't bother.

" no problems using PE "...........indeed ! Only ; when making new boot-CD/usb, etc. , you have to download this PE-file , each time again , might take some time.
On the other hand , the less system-partitions the better , I have the OS- and the system-partition , so only two on the SSD.

You only have to download the WADK once the first time you create the rescue disk. MR saves it for you.

The PE is 1709, if I recall some of the earlier posts. Count Mike needed to add drivers to it in the 4414 (still not offered, just checked). Count, I believe did add needed drivers, and Wynona got the RE by going to Advanced. If PE works, stay with it, and if you need/want RE go for it.

Actually it added drivers, I changed a lot of drivers including chipset drivers since last time.

Here is an interesting problem. I hold two active keys for Macrium yet neither of the two keys will change from free status to active. This happened when I installed my 2TB SSD. I sent an email to
    Macrium
and let's see how this gets handled.

Just a suggestion. Maybe you should try to uninstall MR completely and reinstall the trial version. When asked for activation, enter one of your keys.

If you download the Trial Version, then there is no need manual license update.
