If you click on "Advanced" you should have the choice between WinPE and WinRE.
Does anyone use the boot screen when you create rescue media, I have it on both of my PC`s, it`s a lot easier than using a USB stick or CD, I had to use it once, and it worked perfectly.
It does the same thing as Rescue Media would do, but so much easier
@topgundcp has an answer for that
FYI: Setup Macrium Rescue to boot from an Internal/External USB HD/SSD
I do both, even paranoid enough to keep 2 Rescue thumbs and rotate them.
One big advantage of the boot menu option (assuming you're not dealing with a fried system, disk included), is you can restore an image unattended. Simply Right-click it>Restore>Restore from WinPE>Restart Now. And just walk away. If you use Auto-logon, around 3 minutes later you're at a Desktop, all restored and back up. Very handy for remote work.
