New Macrium Reflect Updates

Interesting bug reported on the Macrium Reflect Forum on latest version.

"I saw this initially reported on another forum and just confirmed it. The Free version of 7.2.4063 generates "inconsistent" Rescue Media. Note in the screenshot below that the About dialog shows Free (which matches the splash screen during initial loading), but the title bar displays Workstation. Additionally, paid features such as encryption and F&F backups are available -- except for ReDeploy, which displays a dialog that it's not available in this edition of Reflect. It's almost as if Reflect Free is generating Rescue Media that resembles a trial of a paid release."

Just tested it and it is certainly the case.

I would not recommend relying on it though :-D as I am sure it will get fixed but of course, if you keep a copy of this iso...........

I can wait a couple of years .

Of course, if you create a usb drive, then the update cannot be applied to that but at some point, it may no longer be compatible - especially encryption - LOL.

For my main laptop, I use paid version anyway, so I can always access any files anyway.

Perhaps I shall just never update my travelling laptop .

MR 7.2.4156 is out via a Patch.
