It will definitely ask for a reboot if you have CBT enabled.

Did for me, too, on the ones I did not have CBT enabled. I think it's good practice to re-boot after updates like Macrium.

Creating and testing the recovery usb does it anyway.

True, but there's not always one needing to be created. In my case, Dual booting, the MR RE and USB are the same, so I only create both on the main partition, 1809, and it's good for all. Hence, manual re-boot for the MR resident app.

And I believe it's a reboot it asks for to complete the installation.

Wonder why some are asked to reboot and others not.... I am on 1809 and it asked me to reboot also...
. Where do I look to see if I have CBT enabled?. As far as I know, since I have been using MR, it always asked me to reboot after an upgrade.

    Update:

Sorry, I think the answer to my question is in the first page of this thread.

I don't have any scheduled imaging set up, perhaps it need to reboot if you do?
I have backups scheduled; full on Sunday and differential every other day of the week. I was asked to reboot.
