    1) sorted - I had that issue

    2) Don't think so.

    3) it has wifi network support now.

    4) the download is less than 200MB now - no need for 900 MB PE files any more

    5) CBT now persists after a reboot - incrementals are seriousl fast.
Thanks, Martin. Hurrah on 1, Boo on 2............I hate touch-pads! Love my Arc mouse.

What does the new release bring?
Any idea if their PE Rescue Media Builder has been updated for the Dell Inspiron 5770?

    Cheers.

    I listed the main changes.

    1) fixed the low res issue when booting from usb

    2) can backup/restore over wifi network

    3) Change Block Tracker persistent across reboots. Makes incremental backups really fast.

    3) Uses WinRE rather than WinPE - much smaller installation footprint.

    4) New user interface for creating Rescue Media

    5) ability to install Free version but easily try out Home features and revert to Free if you decide not to upgrade.

I am not sure of Free version will be upgraded immediately. It usually follows on after Home.

Is this the problem with the screen displaying broken horizontal white lines across it?
There is also a blue W10 logo in the background - that is normal.

Something not OK with the PE upon USB boot -
Asks for network drivers, through the rescue PE build was completed successfully.

I wonder what time they are releasing it?

I'm seriously considering buying MR to automate some processes, I guess Home version should be good enough ?

Have you tried Acronis Workstation? I would do the trial, then compare.

More than good enough. Home is kinda a misnomer, It's the paid "Home Pro" version. There is no "pro" versions, per se, for home use. The ones in the blue box are all business related.

Used Acronis once upon a time, didn't like it. Before MR I used Norton and also have EAsus to do backup, such a slow poke, picked up the free license a while ago.

I removed it from my install. Don't often do incrementals.
