Hey Count, one thing you can try to test & see if it is "system configuration(with all your software) or BIOS/hardware, is create a dual boot VHD and install Windows and ALL your drivers on it, and then just Macrium, and try a system image with that. If it works, then the problem is either a bad driver,/setting, or other software interfering, if it doesn't work, then it's a BIOS config problem.

I say use a VHD, because you can then just delete the folder after and delete the boot option from System Configuration boot tab.

Hey Count, do you have a Linux OS on the disk?
Maybe this can help you find what's on the disk block(LBA) causing the issue: lookup tables - Finding what hard drive sectors occupy a file - Stack Overflow

No BCLK/FSB settings available on this B and BIOS.
Just found that Acronis can't validate backup either. Time to check each RAM module by itself.

Nailed it, one of RAM sticks is not 100% stable at 3200MHz, MemTest Pro has caught errors at very beginning of test. the other one is error free but is still under test at about 30%. Most probably is OK. Gonna have to take it to store on Monday and see if I can get replacement for it.
