    Hi folks
It errored out on create recovery media when I selected USB however when creating an ISO and then using Rufus to create a bootable USB from the iso it worked fine .

Don't forget everyone that if you update the base version i.e the one that runs on the Windows system you need (or should) do is also re-create the recovery media AND TEST IT !!!!!!

    Cheers

That's how I found about my problem, I tested it, it's smart thing to do.

Gonna have to dive deeper as USB made by an older MR version on another PC doesn't work either. If it wasn't booting at all would be another story but it boosts fine and than locks whole machine up.
Are you using PE or RE? Might be worth trying the other.

Have you tried booting other USBs? A win 10 Installer perhaps.

It and all other bootables work fine in any USB port, my all drivers (including chipset) are up to date (MR uses drivers installed at the time of making the rescued media).
Other things I might suspect are: BIOS is updated since last time I used MR, it's made for next Ryzen generation coming soon (July) but I'm not sure I can downgrade it because of AGESA code change but will try.
May also try to reinstall chipset drivers which should be no problem.
MR is mentioning something about WiFi support and I don't have one installed right now, will try with that first.

Think WiFi support is only for RE.

So nothing helps, tried all settings in the build menu, can't reverse BIOS version any more.

There's a section in the MR rescue build where you can update drivers. I've never messed with it. Maybe something there you could put previous drivers on that used to work. Just a thought.

    Hi,
Yep found out pretty quickly older winpe recovery cd didn't work anymore after installing 1903.
Reflect update and new cd did the trick
Works for older system images too then the older winpe works again.
