Let me set an example: If today I installed a game on second drive (H:\Games) for instance and had to restore system disk from a week ago, that game wouldn't work any more without new install because it's missing some files which usually go to C:\Users or Program data as well as registry entries.
What I said in my previous post naturally only applies when your backup contains both disks after you have installed software on secondary disk.

Ok, now I know. I can do simultaneous backup but if I have to restore one disk I should restore the second one too for them to remain in sync. Too bad MR doesn't have an option to do them at same time. It's OK like this though, at least I have only one .mrimg to look for, copy to another disk etc.
The file is about 150GB for now and backup lasts about 15 minutes .

If you are upgrading Windows from 1809 to 1903 today, you might want to update your boot menu option and recovery drive seeing you'll have a new RE environment.

I#m not sure about PE users, but you might want to also.

Yes, that's probably gonna be necessary as well as any other multi-boot options.

If you are still using V6 of Macrium (Free) there is an update to 6.3.1865 available for Windows 10 1903 to install too.

    Hi,
Yep new winpe before the recovery media will work to create an image
Otherwise you'd get unknown error #9.

I'm using PE 10, and I updated my USB recovery drive, though Macrium didn't offer to update my boot menu option this time ( it usually automatically detects if an update is needed after an update or upgrade ).

Actually, you usually have to update the winre version after cumulative updates as well even if Reflect has not been updated.
