Never seen this before, the 7.2.4156 update completely downloads but then shuts down program right before the installation begins. Did it three times in a row, maybe uninstall and start over?

Probably best way. Sounds like it's got something stuck. With this app in particular, I wouldn't try to manually force it to update, way too important for it to be just right. Zap it good and reinstall. Small PITA, but worth it.

    NOTE: Deactivate your license first..........................

Mine did shut MR down while updating, (most programs would do that) but it installed update just fine at first go.

    Have done this numerous times:

    Tip   Tip
If you forget to remove / deactivate Reflect license before fresh clean install, after clean install you should first install Reflect Free selecting viBoot feature to be installed, too. Now open your last Reflect image made before clean install in viBoot, launch the viBoot VM, and open Reflect. Remove the license, close viBoot VM discarding changes.

Now you can reuse your license key on new install.

When I clean installed in January on a new ssd, I forgot to remove the license, from the old hard disk. Installed Reflect normally and I use my license on my new ssd. (The old hard disk was removed from the laptop and was wiped clean.)
So is it really necessary to remove the license, in order to clean install on the same PC?

I've had it work with and without. Just to be safe, I deactivate first and copy/paste on the install up front. Just my way. If it gets nasty on you, do what Kari posted above.
