I created a batch file with above and run it via task scheduler to run at startup.

There is an Image Guardian setting to allow Robocopy which you probably know about but there have been some recent fixes to problems with Robocopy so there may still be issues floating around.
Thanks Keith. Yes, I've always had that Robocopy box checked to "allow". It's never been an issue until v7.2. Version 7.1 was always able to delete "extra files" when running Robocopy, without turning MIG off.

    S, This is not a problem, it's a feature.
If the volume where the images are stored is protected by MIG, the only way to delete older images is through MR GUI, even if you set the "Allow Robocopy to sync and move backup files in protected volumes".
This makes sense, since Image Guardian has no way of knowing who's running the Robocopy command and why.
The only way to do it from the command line, is to temporarily disable Image Guardian and run your RoboCopy command!
Thanks. It's just that, it was not like this until v7.2. I never had this issue when running Robocopy and having it delete extra files when using v7.1.

I just got it, but I'm not due to back up until 9:00 AM! Mine backs up both partitions at once.
