Home has several great features.

1) Incremental Images - more space efficient than Differential images.

2) Rapid Delta Retore - instead if recovering a complete image, this only recovers what has changed. Can be amazingly fast.

3) Macrium Image Guardian - prevents malware getting access to online images.

Hi there

I upgraded -- not so much because I use any of the extra features but was so impressed with the quick fix they did when it was broken - was it two Skippy's ago -- decent customer service seems to be totally lacking these days in almost any business so when you DO get it then it's worth supporting.

I don't bother with incremental or differential backups -- as I just send files to NAS that have changed daily - I've got loads of disk space so not a problem - I generally back up OS daily (only takes 15 mins) or before / after any changes / software installations of complex software say like photoshop etc.

I do like the rapid delta restore - that works a treat and the guardian malware protection.

Urgent "Officy stuff" like odd documents etc I'm quite happy to store on Ms cloud server One drive

However everybody has their own best strategy and any backup is always better than none .

There is I think a patch to come on fixing the backup image mounting problem -- however that's for me a "nice to have" rather than the image and cloning functions which are working.

If history repeats itself, those still set t receive Skippy get uwp apps first.
