    As far as I can see, it's only mounting image on latest Skippy that's a problem.

    Without a patch it doesn't back up on skippy either.

    I can assure you it is close. I have been beta testing it and it is very good. Its new winre mode is great (no downloads of winpe files), and you can backup over wifi to a networked pc. I backed up my tablet to pc. You can restore in reverse.

    You cannot backup a remote device though - that would be cool.

    I cannot say more yet as it is still under wraps but IT IS coming.

    You can get email notifications about updates etc.

    7.2 is quite a substantial upgrade. I am glad they are not going to 8.0 afaik (7.2 being free).

    Just tested that, mounting and unmounting works fine in 1809.

    That's good, maybe will be fixed in next Skippy. With that patch, MR backs up, verifies and restores Skippy just fine.

    Had problems with MR after updating to latest Skippy. MR has a patch in their Knowledge Base that updates the program to MR 7.1.3570 (UEFI). Backup and verification works fine on mine after installing the patch.

    Is there any difference between free and commercial macrium patches....I have used free most of the time even though I have four licenses for commercial version

    Haven't read back, and it's getting late, so if anyone is getting the Macrium error 9 on Fast or Skippy, please see here for explanation and patch fix. Sorry if it's been recently posted. Not intending to duplicate.

Is there a way to tell what computer Macrium Reflect backup is for? Thank you for all help.
I followed the link to update my version of MR. It failed with a reference to a file it could not find or access. I cancelled the update, tried to run my usual backup. It failed withe the same error. Eventually I deleted the program and created a...

If you ask me, Macrium Reflect should be obligatory, first application installed after installing Windows 10. Users often think it as just another backup application but in fact it is much more, giving more than any other free imaging solution....
