Nailed it, one of RAM sticks is not 100% stable at 3200MHz, MemTest Pro has caught errors at very beginning of test. the other one is error free but is still under test at about 30%. Most probably is OK. Gonna have to take it to store on Monday and see if I can get replacement for it.
Well you did say at the beginning of all this Mike, only change you made was upgrading your memory.....glad you found the problem

What threw me is that only those 3 programs were catching errors and nothing else, not even Windows memory test or MemTest86 but Pro did. I guess I could live with 8GB for a week or two.

Actually all I can prove is that it failed at verification/validation as it happened also to proven good backups made earlier. My apologies to MR.

Bad RAM can be a pig to spot. I had a bad stick a few years back which manifested itself by the occasional BSOD in a beta version of IE10 and nothing else until I did a memtest.

It's even worse here, MR actually run fine when only that stick was in at any speed but not when it was in company of other, good one. It also worked with both when at stock speed.

The new AMD platforms(RYZEN & Threadripper, are very particular when it comes to RAM.
