If like me you use Scheduled backups , it does not check for recent updates due to being unattended , it only does that when you start Macrium Manually it seems , at least for me I am a few versions behind by the looks.

Yes, you do need to manually start it from time to time for the updates to show.

I gave up on MR after using it to clone my Win7 HD before Win10 upgrade. Upgrade failed and my cloned HD would boot fine but experience some bizarre behaviors in Win7. That said I'm a fan of backing up critical files and doing clean installs of the OS.

Very unusual results, MR has been the top Image/Clone software for a while now. Did the disk Image Verify after creating?

Although I prefer to use "image" rather than clone, and I always verify when creating.
