Can't find my system restore points

I usually see the restore points created by windows but it isn't everyday backup, so I want to do a daily restore point backups, I went to Task Scheduler>>Windows>>System Restore, there is a task already there, I changed it to be daily at 4am, and It's enabled.
I check everyday in history and I see that the job is successfully done, but if I go to restore points I don't see any of those backups except the ones which Windows creates randomly or after installations.

What am I doing wrong? any hint !

Can't get any more restore points even if you check the box at bottom left " Show more restore points "?

P.S. I create restore points manually in a regular basis. If I install a new program, I'll create a restore point afterwards. If I change a setting, I'll create a restore point. I don't rely on Task Scheduler.

No if I "show more restore points" it shows the old ones, I've been creating those manually, but why the effort if there is a scheduler, unfortunately it's not working with me for some reason!

That task can't be used to make ad-hoc restore points. It is called by the system when it is doing something like installing upgrades that it thinks warrants a restore point. You can schedule it to run but it will not do anything.

If you want to schedule restore points you can schedule the powershell command Checkpoint-Computer (maximum once per 24 hour period) or you follow this tutorial (and schedule the .vbs which doesn't have that limitation). System Restore Point : Create at System Startup - Windows 7 Help Forums

The system only creates automatic restore points if no other restore points have been created for seven days.

Or you can easily schedule your own task to make restore points daily (or on startup, or whatever you want).

You just can't schedule the built in SystemRestore task as that isn't what it is for and it will not do anything.
