    @TheOwner

    I have no idea what they do, but...

    Since this is backup software, which I know I rely on... I just leave them alone.

    Of those you list I only have ReflectUI.exe listed in Task Manager's Startup apps. I have disabled it with no adverse effects on making or restoring my backups. Now if you use Macrium's scheduler to run backups at a set time then you should leave them alone. ReflectMonitor.exe is required for scheduling and was introduced in Reflect v7. I only make manual backups, I have nothing scheduled in Reflect which probably explains why I don't have those other two startup tasks.

    A new lightweight process, 'ReflectMonitor.exe', runs in the background and is started at user login. This process monitors for running scheduled backups and creates a system tray icon in the notification area when a running scheduled backup is detected.

    What I do have is the Macrium Service shown as running in Services. According to its description in the Services app it is necessary:

    Provides scheduling and communication services for Macrium Reflect and associated products.
    This is a required service that should not be disabled or turned off.

    Only if you want to run scheduled tasks.

    All disabled here, backups run manually if/when required. Update checks still done each time you (manually) run MR.
