    Macrium Reflect Free v Trial speed comparison.


    103GB Linux partition.

    WD_BLACK SN850 1TB to Samsung 870 EVO 1TB Interesting stuff.

    Trial backup is blindingly fast and tested by restoring.

    This is because the paid version uses multi-threading for backups i.e. it can use more than one core at at a time.

    Also, the reason the paid restore seems to be slightly slower, is because by default, the default CPU setting is not at its maximum (mine is).

    Ah I see . Alas Hasleo doesn't like Linux and I tend to be Mint 99% of the time nowadays after decades of Windows.
    I still dual boot just for the very rare W10 need and have W10 in a VM in Linux as well.
