I made a backup before yesterdays cumulative update. After for some unknown reason, all my Favorites in Edge were gone. Is there a way to look into my backup and see or recover those links? Thanks for your responses.
Mount your backup and navigate to:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default
Look for bookmarks
"C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\MicrosoftEdge\User Data\Default\Bookmarks"
Copy that file back to your windows installation in the same location.
