Does Macrium Reflect "Image selected disks on this computer" or "Create a File and Folder backup" do the same thing like Karen's Replicator?
I see your Disk 2 partitions are larger than your Disk 1 partitions, how do you calculate how much space each partitions should be?
Why not make Disk 2 partitions exactly the same size as Disk 1 partitions and leave the Disk 2 extra TB into a partition? Example: Disk 1 is 4TB 4 partitions, and Disk 2 is 8TB 5 partitions (Disk 2 4 partitions same size as Disk 1, Disk 2 1 partition is 4TB always empty). My understanding is Disk 1 total used space will always be same size as Disk 2 total used space.
I happen to read about freefilesync, syncbackfree and robocopy any cons about them?
What is this comment saying? Do you encounter the same problem? It seems to say the Karen's setting can only be stored in c:\users. (I saw this comment "@FestivaleOnline 6 months ago I have used Replicator for years, but I have a HUGE HUGE issue about using it for backups. After I rebuild a machine what I don't have are the replicator routines that I built. I can't double check and restore because I don't have the backup settings. Why oh why oh why can't the settings be somewhere rational and user defined? Definitely not in the c:\users location that is a general dumping ground for all sorts of temp files as well as being used as the default for mission-critical files by sloppy designers." source How To Backup Data Automatically on Windows By Karen's Replicator Free Software. - YouTube )
Can Karen's Replicator run when the folder/file (that Karen's wants to copy) is opened or in use by another software?
