    Restore Point On Desktop


    Years ago I had a file on my desktop that would create a restore point quickly and easily.
    This is the file I made:
    How to make system restore desktop short cut-
    Right click on the desktop/new/text document.

    Name it: createsrp.vbs

    Violla!

    In Windows 10 it doesn't work. Can someone help me create a file or maybe not?

    I searched my OLD thread and found the answer....again.
    I just learned that it will only create a restore point once every 24 hours and that's why my newest one wasn't showing up.
    DUH.

Windows 10 automatics updates did not end up looping until 17 January 2017 and system restore point were made regularly also taking backup from those parts of system Windows10 does not save to restore points because they are not MS products but...
So why did Microsoft change this? If I remember correctly all previous versions would create a system restore point before doing Microsoft updates. Since 10 installed all updates that come in for me are downloaded and installed without a restore...
