Cannot boot into recovery using AOMEI Backupper Professional Edition 7

AOMEI Backupper Professional Edition 7.3.3 issue. Cannot boot into recovery.
Just purchased on Thursday and also created the image file. Using Windows 10 64bit 22H2.
PC is a HP Z240 Small Form Factor Workstation.
I have no answer as of yet from the AOMEI support.

I restart and see HP “Protected by HP Sure Smart”. The next screen is the choice of “Windows 10” or “Enter into AOMEI Backupper”
I choose “Enter into AOMEI Backupper”. You see "Loading files". Next it will just loop back to options above.

If I am in Windows and restart Windows by holding down the “Shift” key while clicking on the Restart option, I will get to the Windows recovery screen.

I choose “Troubleshoot” then “Enter into AOMEI Backupper”.
It will go back to options of booting “Windows 10” or “Enter into AOMEI Backupper”

Can you boot from its bootable medium?
If so, that's more important than having the boot menu option, which isn't essential.

Yes, I know, no solution, just a pointer.
(I have AOMEI Backupper 7 Pro (license from years ago) but actually use Macrium Reflect. I don't have AB's boot menu configured).

    ==========
I've enabled the boot menu, and it works for me.

I simply restarted normally, and chose the option.

It may be that something configured on your PC - the 'sure start'? - is interfering.

seems the shel doesn't launch and pe just reboots

Turn off secure start to check if that is the problem. I suspect it isn't

How do I get past HP Sure Start?

Turn on or restart the computer.
Press F10 to enter the BIOS Setup.
    Select Security.
    Locate BIOS Sure Start.
Uncheck Sure Start BIOS Settings Protection.
Click Save to save the changes and exit HP Computer Setup.

also check winpeshl.ini is configured correctly in the aomei bootable wim file.

have a look in the wim file windows\system32\winpeshl.ini see what it is pointing at.

@dalchina could post a screenshot showing what his winpeshl.ini says

I use Macrium Reflect on my main pc and am trying AOMEI on the HP pc.

I can boot to the AOMEI Backupper screen once I press ESC when prompted as described below using the USB Bootable Media created from Tools> in the AOMEI screen.

I went into the BIOS (F10) and then Advanced> Security> Restore Security Settings to Factory Defaults
I now on a reboot see in the lower left corner "Press the ESC key for Startup Menu"

Under Advanced> Configure Legacy Support and Secure Boot> Legacy Support Enabled and Secure Boot Disabled (default)
This shows the boot menu when I press F9
If Legacy Support Enabled and Secure Boot Enabled then nothing shows up.

I still am in a loop as described in earlier top post.

At least I can boot into the AOMEI Backupper screen using the usb Boot Media.

I wasnt recommending macrium. The screenshots show how to check for files in a wim.

At least I can boot into the AOMEI Backupper screen using the usb Boot Media.
you could copy the boot.wim from the usb stick sources folder onto your disk. So you would have e.g. c:\boot.wim

then add a winpe bcd entry pointing at c:\boot.wim and see if that works.

Provided you can use AB as a program and its boot disk you have all necessary functionality.

The boot menu is merely a convenience. Best wait for advice from Aomei.

BIOS Sure Start can be enabled and doesn't disturb the process

    winpeshl.ini should look like this
    [LaunchApps]
    "%systemdrive%\Program Files\AomeiBackupper\PeLoadDrv.exe"
    "%systemdrive%\Program Files\AomeiBackupper\Backupper.exe"

#9 this is what I have in the winpeshl.ini file:

    [LaunchApps]
    "%systemdrive%\Program Files\AomeiBackupper\PeLoadDrv.exe"
    "%systemdrive%\Program Files\AomeiBackupper\Backupper.exe"

I see a problem as the AOMEI folder is in the Program Files (x86) folder.
It is not listed in the Program Files folder...... <--
The files do not display in the screenshot even though I have Hidden items checked.
