Cannot boot into recovery using AOMEI Backupper Professional Edition 7

    I am now registered...
    I had to go here and do the steps: Get Offline Key for AOMEI Products

    I can restart the pc and do a Restore now.
    The post can be noted as solved.

    Hi @davidhelp

    Just curious. When you purchased AOMEI Backupper, did you not get the Key ( License code) to register and activate online?

    ( When I purchased AOMEI Backupper Pro in April 21, I did get the registration key to activate online. I am totally unaware of Offline key).

    I did but it would not take the code. The company has that offline way of doing it. The support person suggested that way as their reset did not work. They even suggested I wait till Feb 20 as the programmer would be back from vacation

    OK.that should have been a One-off incidence where their registration server had not worked. That said, AOMEI support is always prompt addressing any query.

    When my HDD in Dell Inspiron was failing, I sent a query requesting deregistration from that PC so that I can install it on the changed SSD. Within hours they sent an email stating that they have reset it and I can go ahead and install it on the new SSD or PC and activate online using the same licence code. I decided to install it on my second PC - Beelink Si12 MiniPC , registered and activated it online using the same licence code without any problem. All within hours.

    The aomei partition assistant is good. You can have both on the same boot media

    Thanks. Good suggestion.
    I have now downloaded the "Aomei partition assistant" free software Free Partition Manager for Windows PC-AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard

    I had trouble booting on my other pc recently and I have Macrium Reflect on it.
    I started it at the Windows boot screen and next I click on the left side: Fix Windows boot problem
    You only see that option when booting up and not if you have the program opened in Windows.

    You choose the 'C' drive and then Next and it tells you what it will fix like the MBR which is the master boot record.
    Afterwards I started up the pc with no issues.

    There is a Partassist pro giveaway, which it is just a one year license.

    Backupper pro giveaway seems to be a permanent license with limited upgrade to future versions
