    backing up the drive issue


    i want to know how to get rid of that onedrive. on my pc it is called corva and i was trying to setup karans backup and i turned off one drive and karans will not do a restore to a new pc i just got and i want to put my backed up files on the new to me pc.

    i went to the uses on the c drive and added photos docs and downloads and i can get them to copy manually but karans seems to need one drive as i get a error message. being this is a new drive i can restore easy enough but i do not need one drive and when i set the pc up i said no one drive but it seems you just can't get rid of the thing.

    i'm just about at the limit of onedrive storage and i keep getting warnings of deleting but i do my own backups so onedrive is pointless. so is there a way to turn it off forever? now i;m running restore to get it back so i can setup karans backup and run restor to get the file back on the drive.

    i can manually put them on the c drive under users or create folders but after i deleted one drive i keep getting errors. so i now have to recovr one drive and turn it back on just to do karans backup and recover. thanks

    Plenty of tutorials on Onedrive.

    Be careful- proceed in stages so you don't end up with files where you don't want them.

    Disable Onedrive sync. Check your folders are where you want them.

    Disable Onedrive integration. Check your folders are where you want them.

    Uninstall Onedrive.
