Ten issues after a seven restore same disk different partition.

    Hi,

As I was displeased with a slow ten enterprise 22H2 partition, getting slower after use & sleep/wake up cycles, I have restored an old seven partition made years ago from the same disk. The only difference being the ten partition at that time being on an another disk (3 total).

Ok, as I've forgotten that part, I didn't backup bootloader/menu but it was an easy task going thru msconfig.

Everything went well until I couldn't use Winamp, closing as soon as I hit Play. No crash or error message, just shutting down.

Wondering about some bug (I'm designing a new modern skin) I came to install a new copy with the slight issue getting :

This system is no longer supported
Winamp 592 xxx requires windows 7 SP1 or higher

    When I'm on windows 10 enterprise 22H2...

I've tried repair options by shift-clic Restart.
After a brief moment & restart, I got back in windows and could use winamp without issue. But just then, after a sleep/wake up cycle, I'm back to the same issue.
Also I've noticed that every use is CPU 2X times consuming : tasks eating a fraction of CPU requires now obvious more of it's resources (an old I7 950).

Does someone have a hint as I'd really prefer not to set up a fresh copy of ten ?

I've half solved the mysterious issue by... Ahem... updating my previous windows 10 22H2 19045.2965 to windows 10 22H2 19045.2965 by launching the .iso setup from the actual dektop, choosing to keep files & applications.

CPU usage has reduced to standard values when, before, viewing youtube in a browser did eat up to 80% of an i7 950 but I just can't install anything as I still get "unable to complete the installation : your windows version is out of date"...

    Any ideas ?

Unless your eyesight is really worse than mine eaten by glaucoma you'd have noticed this is w10 issue... I'll remember that when having w7 trouble.
